ANÁLISIS HISTOPATOLÓGICO DEL TRAYECTO LINEAL ADYACENTE A LESIONES PRIMARIAS DE PACIENTES CON LEISHMANIASIS CUTÁNEA LOCALIZADA

Resumen

En las últimas décadas mucho se ha avanzado en el
diagnóstico y tratamiento de la Leishmaniasis. En el presente
estudio, describimos los resultados histopatológicos en los
trayectos lineales adyacentes (TLA) a las lesiones primarias
en pacientes con Leismaniasis cutánea localizada (LCL).
Histopatológicamente, en todos los casos, observamos una
respuesta granulomatosa similar a la descrita en la lesión
primaria con presencia de parásitos en dos de los casos.
ABSTRACT
Many advances have been accomplished in the past years in
the field of Leishmaniasis. In the present study, we described
the histopathological results in the adjacent lineal trail to
primary of localized cutaneous leishmaniasis. Histologically,
the trails showed a granulomatous response similar to that
present in the primary lesion. In addition, tow cases presented
Leishmania parasites in their adjacent lineal trails.
