Resumen

Se presenta 7 pacientes con injuria causada por la
inyección de sustancias cosméticas. Se realiza la
descripción anatomopatológica, clínica, citológica y
química. Algunas consideraciones fisiopatológicas
sobre la reacción aguda y crónica que sucede en dermis
reticular e hipodermis. Debe tenerse cuidado del uso
indiscriminado de sustancias poco confiables para el
tratamiento de arrugas y correcciones estéticas faciales.

ABSTRACT
Seven cases of patients with facial injuries caused by
the injection oí cosmetic substances are presented. At
the same time, the anatomopatologic, clinic, cytological
and chemical description oí some of the substances is
given. Sorne physiopatologic considerations are
established relating to the sharp and cronic reaction
taking place in the papilar reticular dermis and
hypodermis. Thus, caution is recomendad about the
indiscriminate use of unreliable substances for the
treatment of wrinkles and corrections of the facial
esthetics.
