PENFIGO VULGAR Y EMBARAZO

Resumen

El pénfigo vulgar es una enfermedad autoinmune cuya
asociación con embarazo es raramente observada. Se
presentan 2 pacientes con esta asociación,
pertenecientes al Servicio de Dermatología del Hospital
Universitario de Caracas. En ambos casos, el producto
del embarazo fueron neonatos sanos, libres de lesiones
cutáneas. Basados en la revisión bibliográfica, se
discuten los efectos de esta enfermedad tanto sobre el
embarazo como en el feto, y la terapéutica a
emplearse.

ABSTRACT
Pemphigus vulgaris is an autoimmune disease which is
rarely encountered in pregnancy. Two women with this
ossociation from the Dermatooogy Service oí the
University Hospital oí Caracas are described. In both
coses, heolthy neonates free oí lesions were born. The
effects cf this disease on pregnancy ond fetus, and its
management, ore discussed.
