PENFIGO, PENFIGOIDE AMPOLLAR Y DERMATITIS HERPETIFORME: CORRELACIÓN HISTOLOGICA E INMUNOFLUORESCENCIA DIRECTA

Resumen

Se revisa la correlación histopatológica e
inmunofluorescencia directa (IFD) de piel en 127 casos
con los diagnósticos de pénfigo, penfigoide ampollar y
dermatitis herpetiforme en el Servicio de Dermatología
del Hospital Universitario de Caracas, durante un período
de 1 S años. El 88.46% de pacientes con pénfigo tuvo
IFD positiva; los casos de penfigoide ampollar y
dermatitis herpetiforme el 77.7% y 81.25%. La
correlación histopatológica e IFD fue de 85.48%,
67.85% y 86.48% para pénfigo, penfigoide ampollar y
dermatitis herpetiforme respectivamente.

ABSTRACT
We studied correlation between histologic features and
results of direct inmunofluorescence of the skin in
certain bullous diseases. We analysed 127 cases of
pemphigus, bullous pemphigoid and dermatitis
herpetiformis. Patients came from the Department of
Dermatology of the Hospital Universitario de Caracas
during the last fifteen years. We found that 88.46% of
patients with dermatitis herpetiformis had positive direct
inmunofluorescence the correlation between
histopathology and direct immunofluorescence was of
85.48%; 67.85% and 86.48% for pemphigus, bullous
pemphigoid and dermatitis herpetiformis respectively.
