Queratinización: Fisiología cutánea

Resumen

En esta revisión se describen las características del queratinocito, las complejas modificaciones morfológicas que presenta para convertirse finalmente en un corneocito, así como la clasificación de las queratinas de acuerdo a su estructura molecular, localización y funciones, resultando de vital importancia conocer el tipo de queratina alterada y su relación con las diversas genodermatosis.

Abstract:
In this revision we describe the characteristics of the keratinocyte, the complex morphological modifications it undergoes until it finally becoms a corneocyte, as well as the classification of keratins according to their molecular structure, location, and functions, concluding that the knowledge of the type of keratine altered and its relationship with the various genodermatoses was of vital importance.
