Resumen

The author studied 30 strains of Microsporum canis to observe production
of perforations of hair in vitro using the technique described by Ajello y
Georg.
All strains: 13 is lated in Mérida, 5 in Caracas, Venezuela; 5 in Florence,
Italy; 7 in U. S. A., produced perforations.
Venezuelan and Italian strains were of human origin; U. S. A. strains
had been isolated from animals.
