QUERATOACANTOMA

Resumen

Se hace una descripción somera de la clínica, etiopatogenia e
histología del queratoacantoma. Asimismo se revisan los archivos del
Servicio de Histología del Departamento de Dermatología del Hospital
Universitario de Caracas, encontrándose 41 lesiones en 36 enfermos,
repartidos por igual en ambos sexos, predominando entre los sesenta y
setenta años de edad, en sujetos de piel blanca y localizados en zonas
expuestas.
SUMMARY
A brief description of the clinic and etiopathology of the
keratoacanthoma and hence of its histology.

Follows a review of all the cases of keratoacanthoma found at the
Service of Dermathology of the Caracas Tlniversity Hospital during the last
eleven years.
The 41 lesiuus studied in 36 patients were found to be evenly
distributed in both sexes. The age of the patients was between 60 and 70
years as a rule. The frecuency of the disuse was higher among those patients
with white skin and located in exposed zones.
